What is it and why does my car need it?
Some cars have a very ridgid plastic gasket that holds the window in place at the bottom portion of the window. This gasket when contaminated with dirt can scratch the tint on the inside of the window.
To solve this problem, most tint shops are now pulling off this gasket and attaching a felt liner to the gasket. this well keep the film from scratching.
If your vehicle requires felt, it is your choice to have it done. The cost is $25 per gasket. This process will add 1 to 2 hours to your job time. Please understand this is not an upsale. We are only watching out for our customers and your investment.
